Music & movement have always been at the centre of my life through ballet as a child, at home and socially. Yoga has given me another way in which to explore this area. I love to be creative with movement and this allows for a natural flow, but I also value the knowledge of how and why the body moves in such a way. As well as feeling free through movement I also love the discipline of ashtanga and hot hatha yoga. In my classes, relaxed and comfortable is key.
It was a new concept to us at NDML, we had not considered or known of services like the ones The Balanced You offers, after a meeting with Ashleigh she suggested a group guided relaxation session with our 5 staff office team. What an experience, she made everybody feel at ease and helped the staff reduce their stress levels. Thank you Ashleigh.
I have a Reiki Session at least once a month and I cannot tell you how much it has helped me, not only with some personal grief, but with day to day physical and emotional wellbeing. I do believe in natural healing after having these sessions and would fully recommend Ashleigh at The Balanced You.
