“The weekend retreat came at just the right time. I was two weeks away from getting married and life was going 100mph so to have a full weekend to myself away from my daughter, fiancé, work, everyday life and planning a wedding was exactly what I needed I thought. When it came to the Saturday morning I laid still and silent to start sunrise yoga/relaxation expecting to feel calm and serene and to my surprise I began to feel all different types of emotions to do with bereavement through my life I had experienced and suppressed due to my own coping mechanisms and to society’s constraints. I’m not going to go into much detail however this weekend taught me things about myself I didn’t know (strength in yoga) and has helped me to slow down and take time for myself. It is to this day the best money I have spent on myself and I will be returning for a retreat with all the amazing ladies I met whilst on it.
